Stillwater Sports is a lifestyle sports event specialist offering an exciting array of top experiences across South Africa. We currently host up to 20 major lifestyle sports events each year, attracting more than 35 000 participants and over 50 000 spectators. These are healthy, exciting outdoor experiences that can be enjoyed by active families as well as athletes, and foster a sense of community in some of the beautiful areas of South Africa. Our highly motivated team of lifestyle sports event management professionals prides itself on delivering the highest standards of event management and organisation.

Agne du Plessis

Project Manager Agne is the steady backbone of the Stillwater office. Her calmness and leadership assists to ensure that all the members of the team stay on course, and meet deadline. Agne has many years experience in corporate, and is able to share this experience with the team. She also plans to do many more trail, running and triathlon events!

Hendrico Burger

Event Technical Manager Hendrico brings many years of venue management experience as well as international MTB experience to the table. As our in-house MTB expert, he offers valuable guidance within the realm of MTB. He is still an avid MTB’er and is responsible for designing most of Stillwater’s MTB and trail routes.

Olga Holomo

Client Activation Often a client’s perception of their involvement in an event boils down to how their brand is activated on the ground. Olga has the responsibility of managing many of our client activations where a consistent quality experience is critical. This is an extremely demanding environment and Olga has the perfect temperament for the task.

Dominique de Lauwere

Event Manager Dom looks after many of our supplier and supporting sponsors. She launched the first Sanlam Cape Mile which was highly successful in it's first year.

Clint Douglas

General Manager and Financial Planning Clint has the task of managing all Stillwater’s financial planning and acts as General Manager in the office. Clint has a positive approach to problems and therefore readily provides alternative solutions for seemingly daunting tasks.

Lauren de Wet

Marketing Manager Lauren, has quickly established herself as a digital media expert running Stillwater Sport's extensive digital calendar. She has recently taken on the role of marketing manager.

Amanda Lambrechts

Logistics Manager Amanda ensures all our event assets get to the venue, remain there and get back safely afterwards. Any event is a risky environment, and she does a great job in ensuring that nothing goes missing.

Danelle Kietzman

Entries Office Danelle is tasked with managing the entries office for all our events. This is an almighty task which she is perfectly suited for, her organisational skills are of the highest quality which ensure that the entries office is always running at maximum efficiency.

Sarah Marx

XTERRA Event Manager and PUMA Athlete Manager Sarah is tasked with managing the PUMA sponsored athletes as well as the running of the XTERRA South Africa series.
